We are excited to inform you that our game is on a good course for completion!
Last month we visited our trusted manufacturer, talking things through and learning more about what needs to be done before we enter the manufacturing phase, to ensure a smooth finish. All the basic elements are designed and tested. We meticulously fine-tuned every detail, ensuring the highest quality for our cherished game.
We're ecstatic about the progress and can barely wait to reveal more to you in the upcoming weeks.
While we focus on the final details, we want to share that the promised Stretch Goals are currently in development as well. These additional elements will bring even more depth and fun to the game, and we are eager to start showing the progress once we feel confident enough.

What Comes Next?
Feedback Survey: In a few months, look out for a private survey. We'd love your thoughts on the campaign. Your feedback is crucial for optimizing your experience and managing shipping. Check the Kickstarter page for more information on shipping and fulfillment.
Pledge Manager on Backerkit: We'll give you a heads-up before opening the pledge manager; you will be invited to join via the email you used to pledge on Kickstarter. We will be using Backerkit as a pledge manager. It will open a few months after the live campaign ends.
You will be able to edit your pledge and add items or upgrade your pledge on Backerkit.
You will also be asked to give us your shipping information and pay your shipping fee so that we can deliver your pledge.

Our odyssey to resurrect "Ur: The Royal Game" began some time ago, fueled by a small team who wished to bring our creation from the clay tablets of history into the hands of players today, and now ventured into the realm of Kickstarter. Thanks to your invaluable feedback and engagement, this platform has been our gateway to sharing our passion and elevating our game to a higher standard.

New milestone: Stretch Goal #7!

Hello everyone!
The awaited Stretch Goal has arrived! Instead of receiving two sets of identical sculpted miniatures, you'll now get 2 sets of distinct miniatures, each containing 7 pieces for every player.
One set of 7 will maintain the familiar dog-like resemblance. Dogs, revered as ancient protectors and healers, were considered familiars of the gods.
Introducing their counterparts – the new 7 lion miniatures. Lions, symbolizing strength, courage, and majesty, often represented royal power, protection, and divinity in Mesopotamian culture. Associated with deities like Ishtar, the goddess of love and war, lions were believed to safeguard sacred spaces and ward off malevolent spirits.
